Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park, 130 kilometers drive two hours
After breakfast at the hotel you leave early to the Tarangire National park. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals; predators and the preys alike gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing after game evening late afternoon you will back to your campsite for dinner and overnight is at Panorama campsite
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
The breakfast will be at 0600am. Pick up from the Camp at 0700am and drive to the Great Serengeti National with your Picnic Lunch Packed and game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. The Serengeti National Park the home to lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocodiles and more. Serengeti is one of the most comprehensive and appealing internet presentations on nature, conservation and research in general. Every day, hundreds of nature-lovers and tourists from all over the world visit the virtual Serengeti. Experiencing the local Masai people around lake Manyara, it is one of the most famous national parks on Earth, renowned for its magnificent lions but best known for its great migration. After breakfast, continues with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Remember this is the migration safari, so as Serengeti is very large as your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants, your guide knows very well how to locate the herds. The Serengeti National Park is famous for the 'Great Migration', over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year follow the rains. In October and November they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June the herds then make their return ward journey. Even without this mass migration, the Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that still cannot fail to enthrall Dinner and overnight at Seronera campsite
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast we will continue with game view in Serengeti for three hours after that we will proceed with game on route arrive at nabi gate for lunch and after that proceed to Ngorongoro conservation area for dinner and overnight at Simba campsite
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
This day we will start early morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great all exploration in Ngorongoro Crater we will drive to Fanaka campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Lake Manyara to Arusha
After breakfast the journey to Lake Manyara. On the lakeshore, you can also observe elephants, hippopotami, buffalos, guenons, banded mongooses and numerous types of gazelles and antelopes. Furthermore the park is well known for its tree climbing lions. Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After watching the animals and exploring the national park, you leave the park in the afternoon and travel to the Arusha Dinner and Overnight at Hotel we booked for you
Day 7: Arusha National park
Depart Arusha in the morning with your private guide and travel to Arusha National Park, a short 40 minute drive from Arusha town.
The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie "Hartari" in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day trip includes a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater, affectionately known as the "Little Ngorongoro". Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs and zebras can all be seen year round as well as many different bird species. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed.
Later proceed back to Arusha in the evening for the dinner and overnight to the hotel we booked for your overnight
Day 8: Arusha to Kilimanjaro, Mandara hut
At the first day you have to drive about 2 hrs through Kilimanjaro in the morning the semi tropical foothills to Marangu area which situated on the south-eastern side of the mountain. As you drive, there is usually some admirable view of the snow-capped peak of the mountain. On arrival at Marangu gate, you meet your team of guides and porters, pick up any last minute supplies for the trek, and head to the entrance of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park to register for the climb. From the cluster of buildings at the gate it is some four to five hours walk through patches of coffee plantation and dense rainforest to Mandara Hut. Mandara Hut is a collection of basic, A-frame mountain huts with bunk beds - quite adequate for your needs - where you inevitably meet up with fellow trekkers who are bent on the same goal. Late in the evening back to Arusha.
Overnight stay at Hotel we booked for you, at the last day of your tour we will drop you off in the airport.
